We will be hiking approximately 5.7 miles round trip from Hilltop Community Park at a moderately fast pace💨There are many trails on Black Mountain. Our adventure will start with a steep upward hill onwards to Nighthawk trail. We will take one of the many trails towards Black Mountain🤪 We will descend from the peak via Nighthawk Trail back to the parking lot.

Black Mountain has several steep hills which provide an excellent workout. Expect to be hiking mostly on dirt road and rocky sections. Please be alert of bikers on this shared trail to avoid injuries.

This is a conditioning hike Distance: 5.7 miles
Elevation gain: Approx 1000 ft
Difficulty: Intermediate
Facilities: Bathrooms are temporarily closed Fees/ Permits: No
Essentials: Weather appropriate attire, headlamp or flashlight, water, good thread hiking shoes/boots, hiking essentials, and optional trekking poles ( if you use them).

Directions: From I-15,take 56 West to Black Mountain Road exit. Go north on Black Mountain Road approximately 1 mile and turn right onto Oviedo way. Follow Oviedo Way to the end(.6 miles) to Hilltop Community Park. No Shows will be marked and frowned upon

🍽🎉😋We will go to Knotty Barrel after burning off some calories to enjoy some cold drinks and yummy food. This is optional after hike but good times😊 🎊located at:
