If you're looking to get outside and venues are limited, come join me and let's hike Iron Mtn! Nothing like a nice hike to kick off the week😊

Meet at 5:00 pm in the Trailhead Parking Lot (intersection of Poway Rd and Highway 67).

We will head up the mountain by 5:07pm. This is not a beginners hike, but more intermediate.

Please bring a 🔦headlight or flashlight 🔦 for the return trip, water, hiking essentials, layers as needed, and optional snack for yourself. Watch for the weather forecast. It could be warm, it could cold, it could be threatening rain, it could be windy. Dress accordingly. We typically spend 5-8 minutes at the summit prior to hiking back to the parking lot.

LENGTH: About 6 miles
SCENERY: Panoramic views at the top, wonderful views of city lights
DIFFICULTY: Moderate
TRAIL SURFACE: Soil and rock
TOTAL TIME: Approximately 2-2.5 hours total
FACILITIES: Toilets are located at the parking lot
