What we’re about
This book club discusses books relevant to the goals of Citizens Climate Lobby: a price on carbon, healthy forests, clean energy permitting, and building electrification. This club is non-partisan and open to anyone who has an interest in fighting climate change and taking a deeper dive into the issue through books.
We will read fiction and non fiction. Some of the titles we plan to read include Saving Us by climate scientist Katharine Hayhoe, Kim Stanley Robinson's The Ministry for the Future, and The Heat Will Kill You First by Jeff Goodell.
The club is free and open to suggestions for meeting venues. We are looking at a monthly cadence.
