Welcome to a traditional Mexican cooking experience!
We'll begin with making delicious masa from corn flour from Mexico. We'll work the dough until it's able to be shaped into a circle, or better foot, form!
We'll add Mexican "string" cheese and fresh Flor de Calabaza. Then cook them in the broiler.
While the Huaraches are cooking we'll make fresh tasty Pico de Gallo salsa.
We'll take the Huarches out of the oven hot and eat our creations with fresh salsa!
The experience of making toritlla dough is delightful. Your hands will enjoy the experience of massaging and working the masa. It's visceral, sensual experince not to be missed!
We'll be cooking at SHARED coworking in the heart of San Francisco. SHARED is located in the SOMA district easily found by transit, car or by foot. All levels of cooking are welcome!
