We are a supportive, inclusive space for writers over 18 years of age, celebrating diversity and raw authenticity. We welcome all “flavors of ice cream.” This means we respect everyone’s unique voice, no matter how different from our own.

2. Critique the **work**, not the writer or the idea behind the work.
3. Hold space for works that may challenge or disturb you. You always have the right to **pass** on commenting if a piece is too difficult to engage with.
4. Respect time limits (5 minutes for reading, 15 minutes for critique).
5. Stay on topic and avoid creating drama.
6. Treat others with respect—better than you’d want to be treated!
7. Keep LIONS' DEN a safe space for all to express their truth through written words.
