Join leader Henry Koertzen for a beginner birding walk for folks if all ages. We’ll be walking the smooth paved path, accessible by stroller or wheelchair.
The walk will consist of a 2-3 mile loop. First we will follow the path along the San Joaquin River, and then we will cross over to return along the lake.
There should be ducks on the river or lakes that have arrived for the winter. Also many songbird winter visitors in the trees along the water. Flyovers by geese, swans, ducks and Sandhill Cranes are possible.
If anyone is interested we can afterwards drive to some of the other lakes in the development to look for more waterbirds.
Note: there are no bathroom facilities on site.
