Barr Hammock Preserve Hike-Levy Loop Trail
Details
Time: Be ready to walk at 10:00 AM. Arrive 15 minutes before to sign in the parking lot.
Description: ~6.5-mile hike “Trail circles restored marsh.” Parts of the trail may be muddy, uneven or wet. Hiking poles advised. Wildlife including alligators, snakes, birds, etc. depending on the season and times…plan on 3.5- 4 hours at a leisurely pace. Dress to your comfort level.
Directions: Refer to your driving app for general directions, the driveway to parking area is on SE Wacahoota Road- Near the western base of the I-75 overpass. Drive to end of the gravel/dirt road.
General Information: Bring a hat, water, and lunch/snack if you like. Bug spray is always a good idea.
