This is a Magnificent park with the most and friendliest birds and animals in Pinellas. I have seen as many 30-Gators, 38-Deer, Gopher Tortoise, Armadillo and 100's of birds and a few snakes! There are bath houses and water fountains. You will need a kayak or Canoe, sun hat, and a 1 qt/ltr bottle you can refill, and Binoculars if you have them. Feel free to hike the trails before and go to observation stand just down path from boat ramp.

Meet at boat ramps / Launch, 1st left after entering the park. I'll have white Chrysler Pacifica minivan. Drop your boat then park in next lot just past boat ramp to save $2 parking.

Some folks may kayak 3 miles some less. 3 miles might be easy for someone experienced or in great shape, but next to impossible if not experienced or in poor shape. It is out and back so if you get tired you may turn around and go back, but tell the group you are doing that.

Cancellations: Inclement weather (rain, wind, lightning) may cause cancellation with full refund. If you cancel more than 72hrs before event= full refund Cancel within 48 and 72 hours hrs before event credit towards your next RSVP Cancel with less than 48 hours no refunds or credit,
