Welcome all lovers of Irish music! These traditional sessions in San Jose and Santa Cruz are for experienced Celtic style musicians to join. We've been playing Irish music together for quite some time; tunes are memorized and played at reasonable dance tempos. We'll occasionally host additional music and dance events in the Santa Cruz and San Jose areas besides our regular sessions, so stay tuned!!

And....we're back! The Santa Cruz/South Bay Irish Music Meetup is pleased to say that the traditional Irish seisiún for experienced Irish style musicians and lovers of all things Celtic in downtown Santa Cruz is returning on Third Thursdays starting May 19, 2022! For those who aren't into commuting over the hill to O'Flaherty's Traditional Irish Seisiún on Tuesday nights, Irish music is hot in the Cruz!

A traditional session of Celtic music every Third Thursday hosted by Julie Horner at Rosie McCann's Pub in downtown Santa Cruz. All ages. This session is suitable for musicians who are familiar with playing Irish music at a moderate tempo and without sheet music. Everyone is welcome to come listen, learn, and dance!
