The Albuquerque Queer Women are continuing an annual event that has been helping women and their children at the Holidays. At the Christmas/Holiday Potluck and party we gather new, clean and unused warm items for the Women and their children at Crossroads for Women (a supportive half-way house following incarceration). It is a highly regarded facility and the women have always been so appreciative of these good things.

Bring your favorite Holiday treats to share and we can compliment you on your baking as we gobble them up, while listening to Carols or other music. We plan to have drinks! We will serve a turkey as well.

And this year Mary Oishi is going to MJ a Poetry and Prose event. Everyone gets 5 minutes to share an original poem or prose. We have such great talent in Albuquerque it will be a stellar evening!

This Poetry/Prose/Potluck/Presents for the Needy will be held at our favorite location, the Homewise Building at 500 2nd St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Be sure to drive to the back of the building past two sets of gates! Saturday, December 7 at 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
