What we’re about
If you want to make some friends, get to know the area beaches, parks and neighborhoods, and want a moderate workout; Sarasota Walkers is your group.
We plan to walk the beaches and as the group grows will get input as to other great places to hike. After our walks we can gather for coffee or a bite to eat.
During the heat of the summer;we walk in breezy locations near sunset. Thanks to all of our active walkers and the members who volunteer our great walks.

The Canal cruise will be one hour through the canal neighborhoods in Punta Gorda. Book on the Charlotte Lady for the one hour cruise at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $32.00. This event will fill by early Nov. or sooner. You can get refunds with a 24 hour cancelation . Following the cruise we will gather for dinner at one of the many boardwalk restaurants. Get in the holiday spirit with other Sarasota Walker friends.FOR THOSE WHO ARE WALKING AT 3:30, meet at the entry stairs to Fisherman's Village. Parking can be challenging so come early. We will walk the beautiful waterfront with plans to return for pre-boarding at 5:30, and plenty of time for bathrooms, and a bit of shopping.
We have done this event many times with rave reviews....but this will be the first time since Covid. BOOK THOSE TICKETS ASAP-Let them know that there will be a Sarasota Walkers Group on that boat.
