Shy Dogs of Sarasota

I am writing on behalf of my very shy dog named Jersey. He is looking for other dogs that understand how it feels to be overwhelmed but a lot of commotion and find meeting new people to be scary. He loves other dogs but needs an opportunity to meet dogs and owners who understand the challenges of being shy but wanting to be more social.
Maybe one day he can work up to the many wonderful dog groups that exist in Sarasota; but for now, he is wondering if any owners and dogs are looking for an opportunity for a low key small group doggie meet up?
