NOTE FOR FUTURE PLANNING: Olivia and I have been so happy and fortunate to build an incredible community of fiber crafters with all of you through Meetup. In order to keep the meetings financially accessible to all, we do not charge a fee, and although we encourage supporting local breweries, buying drinks or food is optional at our various locations. Olivia and I share the cost of a Meetup organizer account to schedule our monthly gatherings (and we have been happy to support the group in this way). Unfortunately, due to multiple price increases over the years, we find it is no longer sustainable to continue to organize through Meetup. In order to maintain the free-to-attend aspect—which we have decided over many brainstorming conversations is central to the ethos of the group—we will be transitioning to Eventbrite. We will cross-post in both locations for the next few months but we encourage you all to start following us there under the same name. We look forward to continuing to see regular attendees and meet new crafters in the months ahead, and hope this change in platform will work for everyone!
