Kaiser Social. All Skill Levels 1:30-3:30 AND 3:30-5:30 pm (no lesson)

This is a special edition of cards and coffee open to all skill levels, though Kaiser will NOT be taught at this event so you must know the basics. If you are rusty or new to Kaiser I will teach Kaiser (Dec 1) and review Kaiser (Dec 7) so watch for those signups as needed. You do NOT need to have attended a cards and coffee previously to attend NOR do you need to attend the lessons if you know how to play Kaiser.

Please note this is NOT a tournament, but a social to play and enjoy so be patient with various skill levels.

There is no cost to play but I do ask you buy a drink AND food item to support the hall who is waiving rental fees so generously for us. There are alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks for sale as well as pub food and chips. Support local- no outside food or drinks allowed and no hats inside

Watch the message section as four days before the event I will ask you to send me a private message confirming your attendance. Those who message late OR arrive late will not be guaranteed a playing spot if numbers don’t work. If you cancel within 24 hours BEFORE the event please send me a private message.

(Parking lot on side, entrance wheelchair accessible and in front of building. Bus route 11)

The plan:

Arrive between 12:30-1:30 - grab drinks/food and socialize. Many of us go at 12:30 to eat, visit and play cards. Register when you get in.

1:30- 1:45 Look for your name on the table (organized by skill level) and visit while you wait for an announcement.

1:45-3:15- Play 1-2 games of Kaiser with same skill level - +52 or -52 triggers game end (must bid out to win after +46) As groups finish they have time to grab more food/drinks, socialize, play in the games room, or continue Kaiser

3:30-3:45- Announcement/ separate into mixed skill groups to play 4 hand Kaiser games.

4-5:30 - We will play a few 4 hand games of Kaiser as time allows mixing skill levels (Traditional drive rules) *will explain

5:30 pm - Help us stack chairs and put away tables. Thanks :)
