Intermediate Cards and Coffee (2:30-4:30 pm) (refresher lesson)

Calling all card lovers and card beginners who enjoy visiting and learning. Games are new every Sunday so you don’t need to have attended previous weeks.

Please read the rules to attend as people need to be on time and reliably show up as card games need specific numbers. We will be playing Kaiser. Don’t let the intermediate title scare you as all skill levels welcome. Just know with fewer cards and bidding it does increase in learning and skill. This will be a refresher lesson for those who learnt Sunday or those rusty to the game. So you NEED to know how to play already. There is a Kaiser Social January 5th (almost full) so if you already are an experienced kaiser player you don’t need to attend this lesson.

Rules to attend: Please arrive on time. 24 hours of fewer BEFORE the event if you cancel that is ok BUT you MUST message me as people are added to the going list automatically. If on the wait list check often as there is a good chance you can go due to cancellations. If you are added within 24 hours of the event I will message you but if you do NOT message back I will give the opportunity to someone else.

There is no cost to play BUT I do ask that each player buys a drink and/or food item to support the business who so graciously reserves a table for us to play.

The plan:

2:30 visit, relax, order food or drinks. There is a big table reserved for us at the entrance.

2:45 The refresher lesson will start. I will have some dummy hands ready to refresh rules and go over bidding and playing strategy in different scenarios. Then play 4 hands with a partner but openly talking strategy and asking questions and for help .

3:30 We will take a quick break for food/drinks etc if needed then will play with a different partner after every 4 hands to see how different people play.
