What we’re about
Join us for our Saturday Morning Civ Meetup, where we gather to play the classic strategy game Civilization. Whether you are a seasoned Civ player or new to the game, this group is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a few hours of gaming with like-minded individuals. Challenge each other to build your empire, improve your diplomacy skills, and conquer the world. We welcome players of all experience levels and encourage friendly competition. So grab your coffee, boot up your computer, and join us for a morning of strategic fun!
Basic itinerary:
- Meet at designated time on Saturday morning in Discord voice chat
- Group leader will facilitate intros and make sure everyone is set up and ready to play.
- Play for about 2 - 4 hours! Group leader is available to assist throughout the game.
- People can drop as they need to. Game will eventually conclude.
- Option to meet for lunch after!
Requirements:
- A PC with chosen Civ game installed
- An internet connection
- Discord (microphone for voice chat preferred but not required)
Details:
- We will alternate between titles ranging from IV to the upcoming VII, to Beyond Earth, and so on.
- We will start with PC players only. If we have enough interest for console, we can coordinate a separate game just for console players (since there is no cross-play).
