Saturday Morning Cold Water Swims

Want to give open water swimming a try? Join us! We meet up Saturday mornings at 8 am for a swim at the North end of the boardwalk at Redondo Beach in Des Moines.

This group is open to triathletes, plungers, cold water enthusiasts, and those wanting to give open water swimming a try. We swim down the boardwalk, staying near to the beach.

Although we're welcoming of beginners, this is not the place to learn how to swim. Confidence in your swimming abilities is a must. Brightly colored swim caps and buoys are recommended. There are no lifeguards.

Bring a warm beverage and a warm coat for afterwards!
