What we’re about

Savannah Paddles is an organization for sea kayakers to meet paddling friends, build skills, and plan trips together. Our trips are in the open ocean, rivers, and narrow marsh waterways along the spectacular Georgia coast. All open water trips will require a 16' or longer decked kayak with 2 secure bulkheads. Most marsh and river trips will require a 14' or longer kayak though 12' may be enough for some shorter trips.

The organizer is certified as an L4 coastal kayak instructor by the American Canoe Association (http://www.americancanoe.org/?), a great organization that helps promote safety, clean waterways and access, and instructor methodology criteria to help others enjoy paddle sports. If you're not already a member we highly recommend you join.
