What we’re about
This is a group for queer women and nonbinary people of all stripes who are attracted to women. We strive to be a safe and welcoming space for every member of our community. We are anti-racist and anti-TERF.
Members take turns picking a book and hosting meetings. Books can come from any genre, not just queer lit. Meetings are also potlucks and social events, so bring a dish and be ready to dish!
In addition to book club meetings, we also get together for other social events. We encourage members to post ideas and invite others to join in on different activities!
WHEN AND WHERE WE MEET
Book club is once a month, normally on the 3rd Sunday of the month, from 1pm-3pm. We meet at one-another’s homes throughout the Bay Area.
We ask that members RSVP by a week before an event takes place, to give hosts time to prepare their spaces.
BOOK SELECTION PROCEDURE
Books are selected by that month’s host. If a host is unable to pick, readings are chosen at random from a list of books previously recommended by members.
