Sci-Fi/Fantasy Book Club

Over 8 years, this group has grown from a tiny, ragtag group of sci-fi/fantasy nerds to a tight-knit, slightly larger ragtag group of sci-fi/fantasy nerds. We have become friends, chat regularly (and at all hours), go to see movies together, celebrate family/life events with each other and best of all, now have an ever-expanding universe of new books to enjoy, lose sleep and obsess over. The books reviewed in this group vary from tree-based to digital audiobooks, standalone to epic multi-book series, classic to new works still in progress to be published (some book clubbers are alpha & beta readers), sci-fi to fantasy & everything in between, classic storylines/characters to cross-genre unconventional characters and creatures! Originally based in the East Bay Area, our members now span from coast to coast. Our group now meets virtually with in-person meetups in the Bay Area.
