GENERAL INFO
Bouldering is a sport for people of all shapes, sizes, strengths and genders, whether you want to come along to socialise, get strong, or just try something a bit outside of your comfort zone.
The goal of this event is to provide a fun, social environment for people to come and boulder on a regular basis. We have people from many different countries, backgrounds and skill levels so there will be a place for everyone, and we try to be as welcoming as possible to all newcomers.

FIRST TIMERS
For first timers to the event, you should expect to be met by the night host and be given a reasonable introduction to other group members who are attending.
Please keep in mind that this is only possible if your profile is a clear photo of your face. If we can't recognise you then it is your responsibility to find us, as we will not waste time trying to find someone who looks like a bowl of fruit or a sunflower.
If you are completely new to climbing the host (or other group member) will join you out on the mats and give you a brief rundown of the basics. However keep in mind that we are not responsible for your safety under any circumstances, and that the introductory video provided by TCA will give you all the info you need. Of course if you have any questions please ask away, every single one of our regulars are more than happy to help despite how grumpy/tired they may look at the time.
What you should NOT expect is to be accompanied by the host the whole night, or "lessons" from existing members. Be aware that hosts are volunteers, and are still coming along to the night to climb themselves.
IMPORTANT
We will be located in the cafe area usually between 6:00 to 6:30, if you are new to the meetup and will be arriving after 6.30 please leave a message in the app so that we can either wait a bit longer or lookout for you on the mats. If you don't leave a message and don't show up on time we will have to assume that you are a no-show, as hosts have been losing time waiting for people.
We always try and do our best to lookout for new members upon arrival, you can help by leaving a message and making sure your profile picture is a clear photo of your face.
ISSUES & SAFETY
If any member, new or old, have any issues that stem from the group such as but not limited to harassment or inappropriate conduct, please bring it up with the event organiser Gordon Robb either on the night (if i'm there) or privately through personal messages.
Everyone in the group tries their utmost to provide a safe environment for people to relax in, and i can promise that even minor issues will be confidential and given serious consideration.
