Justa Dishin' Out Christmas For Homeless Veterans

Mark your calendars for The Justa Center's Holiday Meal Party on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
Homelessness in Phoenix is a known issue, but a homeless Veteran should not be an issue at all. We are rallying to create a memorable event to show homeless veterans how much we care.

We need your help Dishin' Out Christmas For Homeless Veterans
15 volunteers needed
1. 7 volunteers are needed to warm up and serve the food at the event these volunteers will meet at the drop-off location at 5:30 am, help warm the food, transport it to the Justa Center location, and serve until 1:00 pm
We have 5 confirmed serving
2. 3 volunteers clean up crew - to meet at the drop-off location at 7:00 am and clean the kitchen after we finish warming it.
3. 2 volunteers to meet at the Justa Center at 7:30 am to decorate and prepare the tables for serving
We have 1 confirmed
4. 3 volunteers clean up crew - to meet at the Justa Center at 11:30 to help clean
Food Donations Needed
These volunteers will choose an item from the list below and deliver the prepared food to the drop-off location on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, between 8:00 am - 5:00
Please place your prepared food item inside the walk-in refrigerator on the designated food rack. (Designation not finalized yet)

Arizona can reach low temperatures in the winter months. Let's do our part, and help keep homeless Veterans warm with a new blanket or a scarf this Christmas.
