Boxing Day 'Silly Hilly' Hat walk around Chalford valley

Join us on Boxing Day morning for a relaxed but hilly walk to work of the festivities excesses, circa 4 miles.

Do bring your favourite silly hat to wear. We all have one.

We will walk around Chalford Valley starting at the Lavendar Bakehouse.

PLEASE PARK IN THE LAYBY ACROSS THE ROAD.

Expect muddy paths, so wellies/sturdy boots and poles are recommended. The route will be 4-5 miles subject to our pace. Max 2 hour walk plus a brief pit - stop spent at Crown in Frampton Mansell pub 3/4 way around the walk. The last leg will be mostly flat on the canal path back to the start.

Well-behaved dogs welcome.

As usual, we just ask for a £2.50 donation for the Foodbank,paid via PayPal to [email protected], selecting the "Friends and Family" option. All proceeds minus any Meetup costs will be paid to the Charity soon after the walk.

You will go on to the "Waitlist" when you sign up, but you will be moved as "Going:, once we receive your donation.
