🎶December Nights at Balboa Park: Tree Lighting, Music, FREE MUSEUMS/ZOO, Etc!🎄

Join us in Balboa Park for December Nights 2024, to celebrate the spirit of the holiday and enjoy lights displays, musical performances, various attractions, delicious food, and more!

Let’s meet at the Bea Eveson fountain by the Fleet Center at 3pm to enjoy the festivities.

For those coming later, meet at the Spreckles Organ Pavilion at 6pm for the tree lighting ceremony.

Explore the latest exhibits at the Fleet! Plus for those 21+ the Black Hole Lounge will be open from 5pm-9pm.

Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum
Friday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (free admission after 3 p.m.)

San Diego Air & Space Museum
Friday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. (free admission)

San Diego History Center
Snap a photo in front of their 15-foot Poinsettia tree, then enjoy a pint of San Diego craft beer or a glass of wine. Beverages available for $10.
Friday 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. (free admission)

San Diego Natural History Museum
Rooftop bar
Friday 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (free admission)

Restaurants:
Lady Carolyn's Pub at The Old Globe
Lady Caroline's Pub will be open serving food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

The plaza will be lit with Christmas lights as well as a very large Grinch themed Christmas tree.

Panama 66
Full kitchen and bar will be open with a Beer Garden in the Sculpture Garden featuring North Park Beer Company

The Prado
The Prado Restaurant will be open for dinner service at 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Prado Courtyard and Grand Ballroom will be open with a DJ, Bars, Holiday drinks, Santa Claus!

Zoo:
San Diego Zoo
Friday 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. (free admission after 7 p.m.)
