Mod 4.3 mi hike with dogs Discovery Lake to Double Peak

Join me and Maggie on a moderate uphill out & back dog hike to the top of Double Peak where there a lovely views of the area. Let's get some cardio before Thanksgiving. We will meet at the Trailhead at Discovery Park in San Marcos. Please wear appropriate footwear and sun protection as there is no shade. Pack plenty of water for yourself and your dog. We will take a snack & water break at the top. There are restrooms at the park and at the top of Double Peak. You can read more about the hike here:

No more than 2 dogs per person, no retractable leashes allowed and dogs must maintain a good distance apart from other dogs on the hike. Please pack plenty of water for your dog and yourself.
Non-dog owners are welcome to join us.
