What we’re about
Welcome to the Seattle Millennials and Gen Z Meetup group! We’re an active, inclusive community :)
If you’re on Meetup, you’re probably hoping to make friends. That’s great! You should fit right in! We’d love to meet you. Our main activity is our weekly happy hour where we grab drinks at a bar and chat. Currently, our weekly happy hour alternates between being on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week. We often have meetups on weekends as well. Our weekend activities have included hikes, beach bonfires, festivals, wine tasting, and fruit picking. In addition to our official weekend meetups, many members will get together without an official meetup. For best results, show up to our weekly happy hour meetup and ask people about their plans for the weekend!
If you read our meetup’s name carefully, you’ll notice that our community is NOT strictly reserved for SINGLES!
That being said, if you ARE single, we ask that your primary motive at activities is to build new, lasting friendships. Members who are pushy or clingy or don’t give other members space will be asked to stop, then asked to leave. And it should go without saying that harassment (of any form) will not be tolerated.
Please keep in mind that we recently changed our name from "20 Somethings in Seattle", so our group most strongly caters to people in their early twenties to early/mid-thirties without kids.
We hope to see you soon!

See all- Razor clamming Weekend TripNeeds location
Description
Imagine a crisp morning at Copalis Beach, where the salty breeze carries the promise of adventure. As the tide recedes, you and your companions eagerly scan the wet sand for the telltale dimples that signal the presence of razor clams. The thrill of the hunt is palpable as you dig swiftly, unearthing these prized treasures of the Pacific Northwest.
With buckets brimming with fresh clams, you head to your cozy Airbnb in Ocean Shores. The rustic charm of the beach house welcomes you, its kitchen ready for the culinary magic about to unfold. As the sun sets, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, you gather around the kitchen island, preparing the clams with garlic, butter, and a splash of white wine.
The sizzle of clams hitting the hot pan fills the air with an irresistible aroma. Laughter and stories flow as you savor the fruits of your labor, each bite a testament to the day’s adventure. The warmth of the meal and the camaraderie make for an unforgettable evening, a perfect blend of nature’s bounty and the comforts of home. 🌊🦪🏡Airbnb spots and costs

Description
Imagine a weekend escape to the serene shores of Freshwater Bay, where the thrill of foraging meets the beauty of nature. Picture yourself harvesting a bounty of sea urchins, sea cucumbers, scallops, gooseneck barnacles, and other delectable shellfish. This unique adventure offers a rare opportunity to gather sea urchins, which are best found during the winter months when the tides are low and later in the day.
As you explore the vibrant tidal pools and rocky outcrops, you’ll be immersed in the rich marine life that calls this bay home. The crisp, salty air and the gentle sound of waves create a perfect backdrop for this hands-on experience.
After a day of foraging, take a short trip to nearby Port Angeles. Here, you can stroll through charming streets, visit local shops, and enjoy fresh seafood at cozy restaurants. The town’s scenic views of the Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca add to the allure of this coastal getaway.
Whether you’re a seasoned forager or a curious beginner, this weekend trip promises an unforgettable blend of adventure, relaxation, and discovery. 🌊🦀🌿Airbnb spots and costs
