Print Night
Details
What makes a successful photograph? You will have the opportunity to look closely at the prints of others and to receive individualized feedback on your prints.
We will break up into groups of 4-7 people and pass prints around for critique. Guests may bring one print for critique, either color or black and white. Dues-paying members of the Seattle Photographic Society may submit two prints for critique and scoring. Prints should be at least 4" x 6", and they should be matted or mounted so that they can stand up on an easel. (This doesn't have to be anything fancy or permanent.) The size of the mat should be at least 8" x 10". We will have some foam core boards and artist's tape you can borrow to temporarily mount your prints if you are not able to do it ahead of time.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to enter your prints, and arrive 15-20 minutes early if you need to use the temporary mounting materials, so that we can start the meeting at 7:00.
The entrance, and a small parking lot, are located behind the church, off of N 132nd St. Additional parking is available on the street on N 132nd St, and on Greenwood Ave N.
Don't be concerned if there are few RSVPs for a meeting. Most regulars don't bother to RSVP.
