Kirkland to Redmond

This is a traverse hike from downtown Kirkland to downtown Redmond along a mixture of trails and neighborhood streets.

We will meet at Kirkland Transit Center, then take the Cross Kirkland Corridor trail north, 100th St. east, eventually taking some connector trails over to the Sammamish River trail, which we take south down into Redmond.

Total distance is 6.5 miles, with some flat sections and some up/down, including a couple staircases. After arriving in Redmond, we'll have lunch at the downtown park, with options to either bring food or buy it from adjacent businesses. After lunch, we'll walk over to Redmond Transit Center with bus options either back to Kirkland (route #250, continuing onward to Bellevue) or directly back to Seattle (routes #542 or #545).

If riding the bus to the start from Seattle, you want route #255, which connects with Link at UW Station. We'll wait for the bus with the 9:35 scheduled arrival before leaving.
