Vegan Community Event with Local Animal Advocacy Orgs

Following our wildly successful summer event, come out with fellow vegans and animal advocates for a fun time of action for animals and a raffle! Join Justice For Animals (JFA), Animal Rights Initiative (ARI), The Humane League: Seattle Chapter (THL), and Northwest Animal Rights Network (NARN) for an evening at Razzis Pizzeria in Greenwood!
Come out and mingle with vegans and animal rights advocates from all four organizations and get to know what we've been working on in the community. Learn about how you may get involved in animal rights advocacy by talking to representatives from each of these four unique organizations. You do not need to be an active volunteer or affiliated with any of the organizations to attend. Everyone is welcome!
For this social, we will offer quick, direct online actions that you can take for animals while you hang out. The more actions you complete the more lottery tickets you get! Lottery winners will be drawn towards the end of the night -- you don't want to miss out on the opportunity to win some prizes!
We will be downstairs at the Razzis in Greenwood. Razzis offers an extensive vegan and gluten-free menu! Food is available for purchase. Contact [email protected] if you have any questions.
Afterwards, a group of us will take direct action against the University of Washington's Primate Research Center. We will have a light up "banner" to hold along NE 50th St above the I-5 overpass reading "UW Kills Monkeys." We need enough people to hold each letter of the slogan. We plan to be out from around 8:30-9:30pm. We hope you can join us after the Razzis event for this action
