What we’re about
Welcome to the Seattle Whisk(e)y Association! Whether you prefer Bourbon, Irish Whisky, Single Malt Scotch Whisky, blends, Rye, Japanese Whisky, are a seasoned expert or just getting started this group is for you!
The goal is to just start small with bar meetups and bottle shares to share what we enjoy with as many people as possible. As time goes on I want to start putting together better events (tastings, tours, barrel picks, etc.).
Couple of ground rules:
- The best drink is the one you like to drink. Just because you dont like something or someone prefers a less complex whiskey you dont get to dunk on them. Taste is subjective and anyone just coming in to flex is not going to be welcome
- This is not a bottle swap or selling group. If you meet someone at an event and both decide to make a swap thats between the two of you and fine. But do not come out if you are coming with that expectation.
- No jerks
