FREE 1-Hr Beginner Swing Partner Dance Lesson & Social Dance! NO PARTNER REQ'D!

Have you always wanted to learn to dance? Well, this is your year!

WHAT: Join us in West Seattle at the Alki Masonic Center every first and third Sunday for an absolutely FREE beginner west coast swing partner dance lesson! If it's your first time, you'll get into the social dance for FREE too! More info here

First-Time Instructions:

1. Arrive to Alki Masonic Center (free parking in private lot available)

2. Greet front desk volunteer and let them know you'd like to sign in for the beginner lesson

3. Wait for the dance instructor to greet you to go upstairs

4. Learn West Coast Swing (WCS), a modern & smooth improvisational partner swing dance style that is danced to a variety of music genres like pop, Top 40, R&B, rock n roll, country, blues, and many more

5. Come back downstairs and dance with friendly local dancers (often called Westies)

WHEN:

• 5:30 pm Free Beginner WCS aka Modern Swing Lesson starts

• 6:30 pm Lesson ends & Social Dance starts
