Hello there! My name is Tammy and my friend, Kristal, and I are lifelong readers. We like to read and are curious about the myriad interesting and unknown-to-us books that are out there and the people who read them, but small talk might not be our strong point.

We thought through this monthly gathering we might learn things, discover new authors, exchange thoughts and ideas and build a small group of like-minded people who come together in community around words on the page. We've found, to our complete delight, that readers do indeed have vibrant and diverse voices shaped by the vast world of books.

Because this is (happily!) emerging as a not-so-Silent Book Club, we have added silent reading time to the beginning of the meeting, allowing members to join and read quietly from 6-6:30pm and keeping the full
discussion time from 6:30-7:30pm.
