What we’re about

Self compassion is a skill that can be taught... though most people have never learnt this within their family, school or society...which may have focused on alternatives, such as when you have a problem fix it/avoid/blame/complain/stress/dramatise/cry...
But learning to pause in the moment of problems, own the feelings and stay with them...adding some understanding of our own 'humanness' and some self kindness is a soothing self-support. Over thousands of years humans, as mammals, have valued love and connection but tend to seek that externally rather than providing it as self care. It's never too late to learn this wisdom.
