I thought it would be good for us just to have a relaxing Sunday afternoon at the winery after all the difficulties and tragedies Hurricane Helene has brought upon us. Come have a glass of wine and enjoy the 30-mile panoramic view.

I’ve made a reservation for a special tea & luncheon just for us!
The cost per person is $12.50 which covers our tea & lunch:

• A special Christmas black tea
• One freshly-made chicken salad on a croissant
• One scone
• Fresh fruit
• Dessert

Please sign up only if you fully intend on coming. Kym, the owner & hostess, is preparing the above just for us. She will be working alone. I will be calling her the day prior to our luncheon to give her the exact head count.

Actor and theologian Dr. E.R. Haire, Jr. will be performing a one-man performance of Truman Capote’s heartwarming classic story “A Christmas Memory”.

The performance will take place in the Wilderness Room of the Parish House in Flat Rock ~ just across the road from the historic Episcopal Church of St. John in the Wilderness.
