1-day Mindfulness and Meditation Retreat
Ever thought about learning to meditate but don’t know how? Or you tried and “it didn’t work”?
If you have limited time, this one-day meditation immersion is a perfect introduction. You’ll experience foundational practices for grounding, mindfulness, and interpersonal connection, all within a supportive group setting. We’ll explore how to integrate meditation into daily life with practical insights and guided exercises.
Throughout the day, we will explore body-based awareness practices, relational exercises, and mindfulness techniques. There will also be opportunities for personal reflection and group meditation. The event takes places at a cozy location in St. Gallen, in proximity of the mountains of Appenzell.

To make this retreat as meaningful as possible, you’re invited to share any questions or specific interests ahead of time. I’ll weave these into the program to ensure it speaks directly to where you are in your journey, whether you’re looking for techniques to start meditating, deepen an existing practice, or explore new ways of relating.
Program and Timing
Saturday Morning
Somatic Awareness & Group Relating (10:00-13:00)
- We begin the day with gentle somatic practices to ground the body, followed by small-group exercises.
Saturday Afternoon (14:00-17:00): Social Meditation & Mindfulness Practices
- We’ll continue with group-based mindfulness practices, followed by a mindfulness meditation session that introduces concepts like RAIN and insight meditation from the Theravadan tradition.
Saturday Evening (Optional – 17:00-18:30): Insights & Integration from the View-Point of different meditative traditions
- Optionally, we’ll finish with an exploration of key principles of various mindfulness movements
