Harvesters - Food Sort

Space has been reserved for us from 6 to 8 PM at their warehouse location at 3801 Topping Avenue. We will be working in a warehouse sorting food donations so please dress casual and no open-toed shoes are allowed inside. This is vigorous work centered on teamwork.

Masks are optional but recommended for unvaccinated volunteers.

** Please be firm with your commitment when you RSVP. Harvesters plans the work based upon the number of people we tell them we have going. If your plans change we understand, just please change your RSVP so someone else can signup. **

Please check in at the front desk when you arrive, then join us in the volunteer lounge. There will be someone on staff at the facility to show/instruct us on what they need done for that day.

Children ages 8 and older are welcome to attend provided they are accompanied by an adult. Please share this opportunity with your family, friends, and coworkers! You are allowed to bring up to 2 guests.

This is a great way to give back to the community as Harvesters is the area's only food bank. Their network includes over 620 nonprofit agencies including food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes, etc. http://harvesters.org.
