Winter Club Competition Online

This is the second of three Club Competition of this year. Only paid members may enter images into the competition. Others can attend, but cannot enter.

What We'll Do
The competition will be run like a slideshow. Rick Cloran, HonFPSA, GMPSA, HonNEC will be our judge. Rick is a judge from the list of judges from the NECCC.

Rick is a well-known judge and lecturer having served in those capacities extensively in New England as well as throughout the US and Canada. He has been a member of the Greater Lynn Photographic Association since 1975. For his service to photography both in New England and at
a national level he has been awarded the Honor of HonFPSA by the Photographic Society of America (PSA) and HonNEC by the New England Camera Club Council (NECCC). His success in exhibitions has earned him the GMPSA distinction.

Rick will review images, make comments, and continue to eliminate images until we have a designated number, (a percentage of the total submitted). Ribbons will be awarded.

Though there are no categories for the club competitions, there will be 3 categories in the NECCC competitions: Color, Nature and Monochrome, so you may want to consider these when you select your entries into the Club competition.

PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS BELOW FOR THE CLUB COMPETITION
Each member may submit NO MORE THAN THREE DIGITAL IMAGES TOTAL. (ONLY 2 FROM ONE CATEGORY) FOR EXAMPLE: 2 FROM COLOR AND 1 FROM MONOCHROME.
• DIGITAL IMAGES MUST BE SUBMITTED BY December 22.

• The digital file must have the .jpg extension.
• Please size your images so the image is no more than: 1400 pixels horizontally or 1050 pixels vertically.
For example: a horizontal image should be no more than 1400 on the horizontal sides x equal to or less than 1050 on the vertical sides.
A vertical image must be no more than 1050 the horizontal sides x equal to or less than 1050 on the vertical sides.
• File name: Photographer's full name_and image title. Example. Mary Newth_Lost my Marbles
• It is suggested that the photographs be in the sRGB color space.

The link to Zoom will be provided on this website prior to the event.
You can log in to Zoom at 6:30. The first 1/2 hour will be our opportunity to catch up with each other, meet any new members, and to get an update on any club business. The image review and judging will start at 7pm. Remember, images are due to Jody by December 22.

NECCC Competitions
Images from the Club competitions will be selected by the NECCC representative to go into the NECCC interclub competitions, if they meet the requirements of the NECCC and PSA. The NECCC competition will have 3 categories this year: Color, Monochrome and Nature.
