Saturday book club and writing session

Come and join our Saturday book club and writing session!

From 11am to 12.20pm it's the Any Book Bookclub - bring a good book you've been reading to share with the others. You'll hear about some books and authors you might not know and perhaps have a great discussion about literature. This weeks theme is Fairy Tales/Myths/Folk Tales but if you don't have anything in this theme - just share a favourite book.

From 12.30 - 1.30pm we'll do a shared writing exercise. This will be based on tips or advice or style from a famous author.

Then if anyone wants to stay on and do some writing together in silence - it means you can get some writing done but with company!!

Timing: From 11am to finish around 1.30pm or 2pm. Or later if some stay on to write together.

Where: There is a big table up on Level 5 of El Corte Ingles in the Gourmet Experience (turn right out of the lifts) by the boulangerie. It's not the cafe in the stationery/bookshop side. It's on the food side!
You can get coffee, tea and brunch stuff from the different cafes up on Level 5.

Cost: The event is free.

As for me? I started the Sevilla English Writing Group in January 2024 but I'm also a total bookworm (and starting a bookshop shortly!). So this session focuses on books and authors.
