The Santas take over SF! I'll lead the group on a crawl to bars that aren't incredibly crowded to give us breathing room while still enjoying the holiday atmosphere.

Every year the Santas descend on SF! “SantaCon” is San Francisco’s annual city-wide Santas-only celebration. This flash mob-type event brings together hundreds of not-so-sober people dressed in Santa costumes parading around the city, drinking at bars, and causing general mayhem.

HOW TO SANTACON

1. Wear a comfortable holiday related costume (santa, elf, reindeer, christmas tree, wrapped present, ugly sweater, Christmas onesie/suit, etc.)
2. Meet near the Union Square Christmas tree at 11:30AM. If you're arriving later please follow my chat and location updates!
3. At the bars – be nice to bartenders, pay with cash, tip well and don’t forget your ID. Even Santa has to be 21 to drink.
4. Most importantly - Have fun and don’t be a drunken jerk!

We will be hopping bars from Union Square to Polk Gulch, spending around 40 minutes at each stop. At some point we'll stop for food. Please don't drink on an empty stomach! Lastly, you are free to come and go at anytime.
