Photography Crawl
Details
Welcome to the San Francisco Photographers Photo Crawl! This is a monthly gathering of photographers at all skill levels who want to explore different parts of San Francisco and capture what they see.
Your intrepid hosts Khaled & David will not be able to lead us this month but Bob & Doreen have their backs and we just wanted to point out this month's Meetup will be at a different time than usual… from 3-5pm. Why? Glad you asked! The sun sets at 4:52 so the light and shadows will be amazing but it will set you up to keep shooting past 5pm when “LET'S GLOW SF” starts for the evening! It’s the country’s largest holiday projection event, one of 8 around the city, providing an opportunity to stick around and see what images you can capture. Invite your friends and enjoy the holiday spirit!!
We ask for a $5 donation to help support the ongoing management of this event for the community. Feel free to bring cash to the event or you can use this link to offer your donation in advance: https://www.paypal.me/khaledphotography or if you don't have a Paypal account you can also use Venmo: @khaled-sayed-2
As usual, we'll meet to give out the secret assignment, and then give you an hour or so to carry it out before coming together again to share our experiences. Feel free to use whatever equipment you want to fulfill the assignment.
And we would love to see you post your images to the Meetup group page gallery afterward.
I have written an additional blog post that covers various aspects of street photography in America, ranging from selecting the ideal shooting locations to important do's and don'ts in street photography.
