Sketch the Palace Hotel lobby (and display your art afterwards)

The Palace Hotel is getting ready to celebrate their 150th anniversary and has graciously opened their historic lobby and Garden Court areas to us. They will have some chairs available but you can also bring a pop-up stool.

The hotel has offered to display the pieces we create in a room beside their lobby. If you want to participate and leave your art afterwards, here's what you need to do:
• Sketch on single sheets—not in a sketchbook. (The sketches will be taped to 24" x 36" boards afterwards and displayed on easels.)
• Bring a prepared Avery label sticker with your name and Instagram handle or QR code, no bigger than 2" x 4". (I will try to have blank stickers for you to use in case you don't have one.)

The hotel is not handling or endorsing any sale of the pieces, but sales can be done directly with you.
Matt Willis will collect the pieces at the end of the showing time (TBD) and bring them to a future meetup or arrange to return them to you.

PS - The hotel will be bustling at this time so we will try not to interfere with the guests or block areas in use.
