India Basin Waterfront Park

India Basin Waterfront Park has just opened in Hunters Point, on the eastern shore of San Francisco. We will meet at 10AM in the outdoor seating area of the food pavilion (shown in photo), and return there to share our sketches at 11:45.

The result of a long cleanup and restoration effort, the park offers extensive decking and 3 buildings, including a refurbished shipwright’s cottage from the 1800’s. The space provides many angled hardscapes as well as in an interesting interface with the water.

Easy to bike or drive to. Plenty of parking.
