New, youth, and first time shooter friendly! This session is all about fundamentals, including stance, grip, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger control, breathing, and follow-through. GEAR REQUIRED: Pistol (free loaner handguns available), holster, magazines and a round count based upon your desired amount of practice and particular qualification level (probably around 150-200 rounds). Targets will be provided. If you don't have a holster, please bring your pistol in a gun bag and you will shoot from the low ready. Ear and eye protection mandatory even if you are just observing. Wear appropriate attire, including covered shoes and no loose fitting clothing that could allow an ejected round to lodge between the skin and clothing. Water and snacks for refreshment are recommended. When not shooting, keep unloaded firearm in holster at all times. This is a Cold Range. Only touch firearm when you are in the shooting box and instructed to “Make Ready”.
