SFE Shooters "Introduction to Action Pistol" has been designed to introduce those new to competitive handgun shooting to the world of action shooting sports. During this two hour session, we'll warm up with the DOT Torture drill, work on our draw to first shot, transitioning between targets, along with splits, reloads, and movement. We will conclude the session with multiple runs on a stage (course of fire), under "match conditions". GEAR REQUIRED: In addition to your handgun and holster, bring about 200 rounds, two magazine pouches and three magazines. Ear and eye protection are mandatory even if you are just observing. Wear appropriate attire, including covered shoes and no loose fitting clothing that could allow an ejected round to lodge between the skin and clothing. When not shooting, keep unloaded firearm in holster at all times. This is a Cold Range. Only touch firearm when you are in the shooting box and instructed to “Make Ready”.
