Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Meditation Group *HYBRID*
Details
Seattle Shambhala's BIPOC Group is relaunching! Join for our kickoff meeting on Sunday, February 11th.
Do you consider yourself a person of color? Are you looking for a safe space to practice and build community? Join the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Meditation group to explore the dharma together in community. This group meets in-person and online on the second Sunday of every month from 12:30-2 pm.
The intent of the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Affinity group is to create a consistent and safe space for Black, Indigenous, and people of color to practice meditation and engage in fellowship. The afternoon will operate under an evolving format and will consist of formal meditation practice, dharma study and group discussion and processing.
Individuals from all spiritual traditions are welcomed, and no prior meditation experience is required.
Location: Seattle Shambhala Center (3107 E Harrison St) & Online
