We start at Five Pits Trail car park in Chesterfield (Timber Lane, S45 8AL) and walk towards Stainsby, before making our way to Hardwick Hall, which was used as Malfoy Manor in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Parts 1 and 2). The scenes filmed here starred Alan Rickman, Helena Bonham Carter, Jason Isaacs, Tom Felton, as well as Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. Hardwick Hall was built in 1597 by Robert Smythson, a very famous architect of his time. We can discuss whether we want to do the tour when we are there. If not we can walk around the grounds / gardens. On the way back we walk through Astwith, making our way back to Timber Lane where we drive back to Sheffield. Message me if you have any questions.

Please note there is no public transport to the walk start, so it will be driving only. If you need a lift please let me know and I will arrange one for you.
