What we’re about

A community of like-minded cold water enthusiasts who love to get outdoors and feel the rush of a wild swim or dip.

Join for meet-ups in and around the Peak District, where we’ll get into some cold water and share experiences in a great part of the world.

Anyone is free to join, just bring a positive attitude and, more importantly, warm clothes!

As we head into the depths of winter, why not head into the depths of Broomhead?

Once again, bring warm clothes, swimwear, and a positive mindset.

Snacks and warm clothes will be provided for afters.

If people fancy it, we can grab a tea/coffee after and get to know each other a bit better.

Parking can be limited so if people need a lift I can provide lifts for up to 3 people.

Upper Derwent Valley Visitor's Centre, Bamford
One of my personal favourites - Slippery stones! It’s a plunge pool about 3-4 metres deep with a few spots to jump in from.

It lives up to its name so if you’re not jumping in, bring some shoes you don’t mind getting wet!

As the event is around tea time, feel free to bring some food and/or beverages along.

Again, I can provide lifts for up to 3 people coming from Sheffield.

The midges may be out in force as we’re getting to summer time so if you’re liable to getting midge bites, bring some protection. I have some spray I’ll be bringing which others are welcome to use.
