Van Courtlandt Park to Yonkers and back, approximately 6 miles

Please read this description three or four times before asking questions. Please, please, please do not rsvp unless you truly intend to come, and please change your rsvp as soon as you know you cannot attend. Walk will be at 2.5 mile/hour moderate pace, with frequent stops allowing the group to catch up. This walk may not be for you if you wish to go faster.

To celebrate the holidays, take the #1 train to the last stop at 242 Street in the Bronx. Meet at 11:30am at West 243 Street and Broadway near the public restrooms. We will walk approximately 2.5 miles to DeCosta's Restaurant in Yonkers where we will have lunch. We follow a largely liner path from the Bronx into Westchester and return along the same route.
