Coney Island to Bay Ridge & Dyker Heights Christmas Lights

10 miles, brisk pace, about 4 hours.

Meet at Coney Island - in front of Nathans. Take the D, Q, N & F trains to Coney Island Station. Bathrooms on boardwalk and at Nathans. There are also a few drop out locations along the walk.

We'll walk towards Caesars Bay and Bay Parkway and take a 15-minute bathroom break at Kohl's & Target. We'll continue on Shore Road Pathway toward Bay Ridge and enjoy the beautiful sunset @4:29pm behind the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. We'll then continue to Bay Ridge, where there are a number of decorated homes and go on to see the DYKER HEIGHTS CHRISTMAS LIGHTS - a 30-plus year tradition that spans three avenues and several streets.

Our LAST STOP will be TASTY BAKERY, where we can reward ourselves with delicious pastries, cookies, cakes, cappuccino, ETC ETC ETC!

Option: After Tasty Bakery can see one more Amazing House about 8 blocks away.

Please wear layers and bring hats and gloves -- it's often windy along the water.

To return home, the D train is available at 79th Street & New Utrecht Ave or walk on 86th St. to 18th Ave Station to change at Atlantic Ave & Barclays Center from which you can transfer to the R, N, 2, 4 trains.
