What we'll do
Join us for a session of writing! Social distancing doesn't mean we have to stop being creative. Turn off and tune out the distractions, get some accountability. Join us online - Monday at 8pm UK time

Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.

SCHEDULE:
8:00 - quick intros.
8:10 - SESSION 1 timer starts: write for 50 mins
9.00 - chat, take a break, grab a coffee
9.10 - SESSION 2, timer starts: write for 25 mins
9.35 - end, Zoom meeting room will be closed shortly after

How it will work online - we will have our cameras and microphones on as people join the virtual room. We will have a shared timer as a tab in your browser so you can see how much time we have left. When the host starts the timer, turn your mics and cameras off and focus on writing for 50 mins. At the end of that session, your host will welcome you back into the room for a quick break. This is your change to grab a cup of tea, take a loo break but also connect with other writers.
Then it'll be mics and camera's off for 30 more minutes.

Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing.

BEING LATE IS OKAY: just keep your mic muted and your camera off until you hear the host.
